Four weeks and the patch still isn't here. I really hope the next gen consoles fix their respective infrastructures to allow for timely game patches (among many other things). I'm starting to lose interest in this game, I've been playing it way more than I normally would because my gfx card is busted and it's summer so all the big console games are hibernating until fall. Which is something I still don't understand, you're telling me if GTAV dropped right now it wouldn't sell just as many copies (if not more) than it would later in the year? At least last year we got Infamous 2, this year we got jack and sadly its not an anomaly. But I digress...

Love the comics, but I'm not really into adventure games, so I initially wrote off the Telltale game. Then I saw the GB QL and was very impressed by the visuals design, non-traditional gameplay and most importantly the characters + story. Just finished episode 2 yesterday and it's pretty great (read: fucking awesome).

Anyway, I don't follow the TV show and what I'm reading about this game does not leave me feeling very enthusiastic to say the least. That being said, I'd love to once again be pleasantly surprised, I just don't think it's likely to happen.

Still waiting on Google's Nexus 7 later this month, more likely to be in my price range given it's a 7'incher.

Pass. The only reason I'm able to tolerate the emergence of motion controls is that I'm hoping that the movement evolves into virtual reality someday, kinect seems to be a very small step the right direction at least. On that note, anyone here read the book "Ready Player One?" If you haven't, you should (you're welcome).

Best of luck to 'em, personally I'm still waiting for a Shining Force Kickstarter to pop up.

If the movie Heat was a game, I would choose the ending where De Niro gets to have his cake and eat it too, take care of the unfinished business and make a clean escape with the girl as well. ME2 lets players have the equivalent of that choice for those that want it, and that's a big part of why I loved the game. Given how fucked up reality is, when it comes to works of fiction I tend to be a sucker for happy endings and I don't like what I've been hearing about ME3. Not saying I can't appreciate a bittersweet ending in works of fiction, but given the choice I'll remove the bitterness every time. Even if most people believe it to be a detriment to the quality of the narrative, but like that old song goes; "it's my prerogative."
