So, I went to watch the new Quick Looks for the Dead Rising DLC and the new Battlefield, and when the advertisement ended, it would just crash the browser on my iPad. HALP!

iOS 7.1 on an iPad Air.

@csl316: Pretty perfect, honestly. Sums it up well. This entire argument sounds insane to me. And I lol'ed at the digs at Polygon and IGN. +4 Uncharted 3 joke. Good giggle.

There is always going to be a clash in the AAA industry. They want to appeal to everyone. You want more immersive stuff. I want all that stuff removed because I don't understand the obsession with immersion. How do you balance that? No idea. You don't, honestly. It's always going to be a meet in the middle as much as you can.

During the E3 shows, someone mentioned that the high fidelity of The Order made any weird glitch that much more noticeable. So there's potential for immersion to increase or for little things getting way more jarring. I'm curious if digging through trash cans will decrease in the coming years to immerse you. Or if it'll increase to pad out the game.

That's a bigger discussion about games trying obsessively to be like films. As long as there in interactivity, as far as I am concerned, you will have those "gamey" parts be way more noticeable than they would otherwise be. But, you solve that by not being films little brother who doesn't do things as well as film. You embrace what you are. The ones that do that are the most successful.

@l1ghtn1n: That seems like an exploit that shouldn't be there and will, probably, be patched out.

@spoonman671: Ya. Just briefly looking at this Twitter feed he has started the process of calling console gamers "peasants". I don't care if it is a joke because I think saying something like that immediately makes you a piece of shit I want nothing to do with.

@unilad: I don't know why you brought up Crysis 3. Graphics heavy stuff always has a problem on PC. You go from a corridor to the outdoors where all the graphics are you're going to have performance issues.

@sterling: With how atrociously bad the story is in the inFamous games they pretty much are mechanics games.

It's also weird when I read comments like yours. You don't like mechanics only? This is a medium in which the purpose of its existence is interactivity. You need the parts where you don't play to be interested? I've never understood that.

But, to the question asked by the OP, it's not important, for me. I can easily turn the sound off and listen to music and play a game and have as much enjoyment as if the sound was on. I don't skip cutscenes any more. I used to all the time when I was little. I'm there for the interactivity. Not the part where I read a text entry or watch a poorly written/constructed cutscene that is riddled with holes. I spend most of my time laughing through cutscenes, now. So, they are worth watching.

@yummylee: Don't expect that on PS3 and 360. But, definitely PS4 and Xbone.

One thing I want is some difficulty. Far Cry 3 is brain dead easy. Even on the hardest setting it''s a breeze, for whatever reason.

@yesiamaduck: I am happy too. With the amount of money Google has it could mean very good things for their infrastructure and backbone. Like you, I also cannot get Twitch to work reliably. It just sucks really bad. Hopefully that can be improved.

This is good news. Twitch would have bigger aspirations that require a lot of money they wouldn't have.

@hailinel: MS bought 150 million in patents, in relation to AR, and wearable are a market that is more than likely going to be a good place to be for a company like MS.
