@thoseposers: Try restarting your roku through the settings menu. I've had that issue with both Prime Video and Giant Bomb and that usually resolves it.

It seems like the latest Nancy Drew episodes (Haunted Carousel) aren't listed in either the Lockdown or Clue Crew sections of videos, and part 1 of the most recent game is now off the carousel list of new video at the top of the channel.

Also just as a more general question, why isn't there a search function in the roku channel? It seems like it would alleviate all the weird indexing issues of which video is in which category and it kind of being a nightmare to find a specific thing that you're wanting to watch when it's either an older video or something that could fit into several of the categories.

Or is this in the channel already and I'm just the biggest dunce in the world and haven't ever found it?

Some of the older episodes are considered to be GB Playdate, but they're old enough at this point that they're not showing up in the carousel list of episodes that shows up under that show. I'm personally looking at getting a Chromecast and just using Giantbomb Video Buddy instead because the official Roku app is honestly just kinda bad, and its the main way that I watch GB content. The lack of a search function alone is kind of insane.

There isn't a way to search for videos in the Roku app that I'm missing, is there? I was trying to find the first Jeff Gerstmann's Pro Skater video, and the show isn't listed under the shows tab (which is missing a decent number of shows actually), so I ended up needing to watch it on my tablet with Video Bomb and then screen mirror it onto my Roku.

Are you covering yourself in butter or what.

I only ever used a case in my last job as a baker because it allowed me to cover the headphone jack and usb port to avoid flour from getting all up in them and then being a huge pain in the butt to clean out. As that isn't an issue anymore, I haven't had my phone in a case for about 6 months now.

If you're someone who wants to store a lot of files (music, podcasts, and video, specifically) locally on your phone, Android is kind of the default choice between the two just because of expandable storage through microSD cards. If you've bought into The Cloud or just don't have too much that you want to be able to carry with you at all times, I don't think it matters too much. You'll be able to find good apps to cover everything you need on both platforms.

However, as someone who has a 200gb card of music and podcasts nearly entirely filled up, I'll probably never move to iOS just for that reason, but I don't really have anything against Apple products in general (aside from the kind of awful and obnoxious zeitgeist that always gets built up around them).

The Good Life just made its funding goal about half an hour ago, so assuming no massive backer pullouts it's finally happening!

No Caption Provided

Also a just announced stretch goal at $800,800 for a Switch release of the game as well. Seems pretty unlikely to happen given that there are only 52 hours remaining, but it seems like the past 2 days have seen more than half of the funding come into it. So who knows, might actually happen.
