I literally understand nothing about this post except that it disturbs me.
If you want to know the truth, this girl has changed my life. She fell asleep while skyping. Because of her I've quit smoking and lost over ten pounds from working out. I lost my wife but gained a true friend. Don't judge me. She lives in Pittsburgh and I in North Carolina.

I'm happy to hear that you found someone to help you with your tough time Claude.
My best/only friend is a guy in Texas, I'm in New Brunswick Canada, who is about 6-7 years younger then myself. We met online playing Warhammer Online when I was like 19 or 20 and he was only 12 or 13. I'm turning 26 in a few months and he is graduating High School next year and we are still best friends. He was really mature for his age and I didn't even know how young he was for months after we met because we only talked via text in game. When I found out how young he was I was expecting SWAT to come breaking into my room telling me I was under arrest or something, but after a while I just stopped caring about his age and saw him as a person and a friend and nothing else.
He is one of the nicest people in the world and the closest thing to a real friend that I have ever had and I would do anything for him. If it wasn't for all the late nights we have spent playing games together just talking on skype about anything/everything over the years I don't think I would be alive right now. I met him a year or so after my mother had died and she meant everything to me. Until I met this guy online I had never really had anyone in my life I would call a friend but my mother, and after loosing her -and my troubles with college at the same time- I was in a very dark place that still affects me to this day. He has been the only good thing in my life since then, and if it wasn't for having him in my life I think I would have ended it a long time ago.
It always amazes me to think of how differently life would have been for folks like yourself and I after losing people the way we did if it was not for technology allowing us to find these people online. I honestly could not imagine what my life would be like right now had I never met this random kid while running around looking for a group in Warhammer Online.
