It wasn't just one! In an insane plottwist, Abby and Dan snuck down to the kitchen late at night to get the cookies. They distracted the ever vigilant Papa Vinny with some coins, and straight up just walked in, took the cookies and ran.

I mean, if you're not using that 40K Space Marine code, I could take it!

I used to be extremely excited. When I bought my gamecube, the purchase and unboxing was basically a religious act. I slowly pulled off all the plastic, looked at all the wires, gently plugged it in, almost in tears from excitement. The Xbox 360 was similar, with shaking hands and a rapid, excited pulse. I had already made a place for them under the tv, perfectly measured so they would look perfect.

However, fast forward a few years. My switch arrives in the mail. I barely take it out of the box. I plug it in and just kind of... shrug as I start it up. Excited to start it up of course and ready to play all kinds of games. But I'm not making a big thing out of it anymore. Same with my new gaming pc. If the cardboard wouldn't have caught fire after a while, I'm pretty sure I would have just left it in the box and made holes for the needed wires. I'm still interested in new consoles or whatnot, but not nearly at the same level that I used to be.

I've been here for nine and a half years, and I still love the site so much. I come by here every day to catch up on the gang and the amazing community. What amazes me the most is that they keep hiring all these amazing people, making the site better by every addition. I miss Patrick and Austin, but I love their endeavours at waypoint. Dan and Jason brought it when it came to content, and I knew Dan would be a favorite from the get-go. Abby, Ben and Jan are all fantastic and I love the entire gang. During these years we've experienced loss, rest in peace Ryan, and as a community, we've been in grief. And that just nailed down how much better a communtiy we are here. There are some bad apples of course, but we are quick to weed them out. I love my entire GiantBomb family with a passion!

All my favorite moments would take hours to list, but there are some that shines even stronger than others.

The bombcast where the developers from GRIN brought swedish candy is the best thing to have happened in podcast history, and to this day, I still call it DJ Ungelvral. I remember me going back to this podcast the day I learned of Ryans passing. Vinny screaming that his tounge had melted after trying the hockeypowder still makes me giggle just thinking about it.

"My balls"

Jeff inviting people to ride the rollercoaster.

Metal gear Scanlon is amazing, and I love the dynamic between Drew and Dan.

The gang mocking Milo for the kinect.

Everything Abby has been in. 13 deadly Sims is my favorite videoseries on this site.

Here's to ten amazing years, and here's to ten more!

Alright! Seems like I'll be doing some Witchin' during the easter break. It's downloaded and ready to go, with Persona 5 as a temporary back-up. Thanks everyone!

I never owned a N64 until pretty recently, I just played it at my friends place. Don't get me wrong, I love the system and a lot and some of my favorite games are on that console, like Ocarina of Time, Banjo & Kazooie and mother-flippin' Buck Bumble!

The gamecube will always have a special place in my heart. It was the first console I ever bought with my own money, and I spent more time on that little cube than I have spent on any other console since.

I am still playing Overwatch and enjoying it immensly. If you had told me a year ago that one of my favorite games last year would be an online shooter, I would have said "probably not", but maan, if they keep the new content going, it may end up being my favorite game this year too.

Also really, really enjoying Mass Effect Andromeda. Currently on a mission to smooch all the aliens in the universe (with mixed results).

Booted up Dark Souls 3 again, eager for the new dlc, and it's just like greeting an old friend again and I am even more excited for the coming adventure.

I played it for 20 minutes last week just to see what I was in for. Bought a switch for it and everything. Now I'm just patiently waiting for easter to roll around.
