Couch multiplayer has really made the last three or four games that I've played much better. Trials Evolution and Left 4 Dead are particular favorites of mine.

Man I totally sacrificed seven or eight yetis in a row and didn't get anything from Kali. Maybe if I had found a few more I would've gotten something? Or perhaps spread it out over a few levels?

Either way, I'm totally trying for the Kappala Cup now. Sounds like a good way to make it past that damn Temple area.

Is Fish the guy that pretty much insulted every Japanese game developer?

Huh. Guess I can safely never buy any of this guy's games ever.

You're missing out simply because you don't agree with his personal views or the way he chose to express them (all according to one single quote that very well may have been taken way out of context).

Made by an asshole or not, Fez is a great and refreshing game.

Seems like everything the guy says always gets taken out of context. I really don't think there's any context to what he says anyways. I think the guy is just an old fashion ass hole who thinks his shit doesn't stink. Frankly after looking over some his other views I really don't think I'll be supporting him either. Personally I find it funny and ironic Fish keeps criticizing modern gaming but yet he chooses to go to bed with Microsoft.

You should watch Indie Game: The Movie and then think about calling Fish an asshole again. That guy went through a lot of shit to get his game completed, and while some of his comments aren't excusable, at least some are when you see how hard things were for him two years before shipping Fez.

Where to begin?

Dark Souls got blasted by Jeff and Ryan so much on the Bombcast that I had to see what the hubbub was about. I didn't have an Xbox 360 when Hitman Blood Money came out, so I never even considered playing it. Then Rebel FM had a game club for it, and Patrick just played it and talked about it on the show. Viva Piñata looked too much like a children's title when I first saw it, but Brad's plea at the end of this convinced me for sure.

I'm sure I'm missing some others too. I take podcasts, reviews, and videos from this site pretty seriously when considering what games to buy. Especially since I've pretty much exhausted almost all the big titles that have come out for the 360. I'm exploring the deep cuts and more peculiar titles that get mentioned around the site.

@PeasantAbuse: Fedoras are universally horrible.

This entire thread reminds me of the book "The Life You Can Save" by Peter Singer. His argument is that everyone, not just super rich people, can give much more to those in need. Singer claims there is no limit to how much you should give, especially if you're rich. It seems that some people feel the same way about Notch, but I can't really knock him for giving. Anyone who gives to those in need is doing a good deed in my eyes. Sure, he could probably give more, but at least he is giving something (much more than I, or anyone else buying the bundle are.)

Singer sounds like an uppity bitch. Sure, everyone could donate more money. But announcing it, as Singer did through his book, makes it appear as if he is demanding it. It's the whole "don't count someone else's money" thing. It isn't Singer's, or anyone else's, business what another does with their money. Even if he isn't really making demands of others, by announcing this philosophy Singer sounds arrogant and snobby. The same goes for those who are saying Notch, who is a very wealthy person, should give more. Notch should give what Notch wants to give. Anyone who says otherwise is butting into business that doesn't concern them.

I don't know about uppity bitch, but Singer is demanding for sure. One thing we don't know is how much Notch even truly gives to charity. You can customize the payment sliders to go straight to the developers, bandwidth costs, or charity, so it is entirely possible that Notch just gives it all to the developers. Though, something tells me he probably splits it.

Now how am I supposed to beat this game!? I've scraped my way into Anor Londo, and I have no fucking clue how I'm going to finish this shit even without more DLC content.

I've been playing the Xbox 360 edition, and I can't figure out how to repair items. Since the crafting grid is completely automated, combining two damaged items appears to be impossible. So is there a way to repair items?

Hey guys...I wrote some user reviews...GUYS? :''(

*runs away crying*

Pretty much how I feel. But even if nobody reads my reviews, I still enjoy writing them just for myself. I always think critically of entertainment, so writing a critique sort of clears out my mind on a certain game. I'm also a journalism major, so writing is kind of my thing.

If a new game was made would it be a 3D platformer of a veichle based game?

I think you put too much faith in the people making the decisions about the franchise. If anything, they'll put out a Banjo-Kazooie Kinect game for the next console, and the 3D platforming won't factor in much. I hate to be so pessimistic, especially being a huge fan of the original two games, but I can't believe anyone is pushing hard for another traditional BK game.
