@darji: You've just kinda proven that having your identity out there is not a deterrent considering TB still has a massive following after that ridiculous hissy fit he and his wife threw over basically nothing but their own mistakes. It's not just about people being associated with the shit they spew online. It's a much more complex issue than that. The massive amount of bullshit that goes on in any alley of the internet is indicative of a completely diseased societal conscience. Just because the internet is a safe place for symptoms to manifest doesn't mean the internet is to blame.

I'd rather pay $60 for a solid, well crafted multiplayer than $60 for an adventure-line single player and completely broken or poorly balanced multiplayer.

I love how this guy went through all the trouble to remove his name from the video but during the kill cams from the bots his name is still there. PS360HD3 is his gamertag.

Why give a fuck? Why ponder another's tastes? Just accept it. Christ.

Because then you can't say someone else on the internet is "crying" about something. And that's what I live for!

@chose: You're making counterpoints to claims I never made, and addressing none of the points I did make. Sounds about right.

@2headedninja: People want progress in this industry and yet ignore it when it's right in front of them. That's just how we do things apparently.

@chose: If your chosen hobby isn't worth paying money for when it's all about things that others have labored to create, why the hell do you bother with it? Corporate greed or no, there are average every day people making games. You are fooling yourself if you think that pirating sticks it to the man more than it does the people making your beloved interactive media. Guess who gets fired when a game doesn't sell well enough regardless of how good it is? It's not the white collar guys, that's for goddamn sure. Stop being an idiot.

@erel: Piracy isn't theft of physical property, but intellectual property. That's besides the point however, the argument he presents is that if it's in a form that is easily copied he will continue to copy it without paying the creator(s). Basically, "if you don't want me to steal your shit, stop releasing it." It's incredibly stupid.

@chose: There are some relatively decent pro-piracy arguments. This is not one of them. You damage your cause, sir.

Wounds are something that heal with time, the crew not jumping at a chance to talk about him is normal. I still get really, really sad when I hear him on old quicklooks and I never had the chance to meet him. I can't imagine what they're going through still. Give it more time.
