People still believe the eye can't perceive passed 30 fps? Funny then how I and others using 120hz monitors can immediately tell the difference between 60 and 120fps.

I am more sad that The Last Of Us will probably get ignored but hey....

That game was really unfun to play.

Just like Uncharted 3. Naughty Dog needs some mechanic retooling.

GTA 5 isn't deserving of GOTY. It's a great game, but there are better experiences to be had that came out this year. Infinite is not one of them, either.

These forums have been on a downward spiral since late 2009/early 2010.

I'd like to participate in this but I don't have the means to have a camera on myself, are camless streams alright?

@kaos_cracker: Don't take people on the internet to heart. A lot of people think that since they have the fortunate lifestyle that they do, everyone is fortunate enough to own a killer PC or all console platforms + a PC. There are so many possible disconnects with reality that a person can have, and often times you'll find those who spend most of their time on the internet are prone to having the most. It's really not worth it to get upset about or feel bad about your excitement or whatever. Be excited for the shit that excites you.

@clonedzero: You're in luck, the vast majority of game programming has nothing to do with complex math. Unless you're coding graphics you're in the clear.

I find the same and I think it's because largely I can't blame execution errors for my losses, it all comes down to spacing and fundamentals. Except for fucking Markman, fuck him.

Makes a lot of sense, I haven't seen Carmack as giddy as he was when the Rift was being unveiled to the public with anything else related to games in a really long time. That guy goes with what he loves.
