I know Limbo took a while to port. Does Microsoft have any sort of exclusivity associated with this game? I've checked around online and nothing clearly answered this. Wondering if maybe anyone else found a source I missed.

@lawgamer: Microtransactions in full priced retail games are quite common now. You actually would probably be hard pressed to find a multiplayer game that does not contain them in some form. I will say though that Overwatch doesn't force them at all or gate progression. The only items you are getting from potentially paying money are cosmetic ones. All characters are unlocked from the start and there are no weapon or ability unlocks gated by XP that paying money would somehow make easier. Other games have gone that route and it splits the community pretty quickly.

Blizzard has made mention in the past that all maps and characters in the future will be rolled into patches and will be free. This is one of the few current multiplayer games that does not have a season pass attached to it. For such a high profile game that is published by Activision no less, it seems like they may be finally learning about why people jump ship from so many of these games every year.

@jslack: I will try it again during a live stream. Thanks for replying. Specifically though, the issue I was describing was during watching any posted video, not just live. For instance, I was watching the new mailbag and the Mad Max Quick Look yesterday. I would try it from the embedded video player as well as selecting the download button just get it the video in a single window. I would then going into the Control Center (slide up from the bottom of the screen) and select AirPlay. It would work fine until the display went to sleep (auto-lock), then just drop me back to the Apple TV main menu. If I unlock my iPad, it starts playing again. This did not happen previously. I have done both reboots and hard resets, neither seem to work. Now that you mention it though, it does seem to be an issue with other sites, but it did not happen before on GB. I always wondered if it had to do with changes to the video player format. Currently though, if I use the third party Giant Bomb Video Buddy app, I can start a video and then just lock the device and it still keeps playing. Hope this helps possibly diagnose an issue and thanks again for taking the time to investigate.

Scrubbing and full screen work great now, thanks! Not sure if it is on my end or the site. But I used to also be able to playback video to AirPlay on an Apple TV 3 without interruption of the iPad locking. That seems to have changed. Now videos drop when the auto lock kicks in. Let me know if it's just me. I am on an iPad Air 2 running iOS 9 (beta) and do not seem to have this problem in other applications that I have noticed yet. Using the Giant Bomb video buddy app is my current workaround,

Started from just playing the link on my phone. But then subscribed on Pocket Casts when it was announced as available to subscribe.

I like Adam Sessler, but this whole ordeal is very childish. If they are frustrated about something they can't talk about publicly, then they shouldn't be talking about it publicly. Let it run its course, and editorialize it when they know it is safe to do so. Seems they just want to rile up a lynch mob to bombard some company in the near future. I'm waiting on the facts to take a side.

That's a lot of core features bundled into one patch. 300 MB isn't too bad, but the inclusion of some of this stuff so late is really odd.

Sorry for your loss Rorie. Rockstar killed my original PS3 with Red Dead Redemption, so hearing GTA V take the life of another is not incredibly surprising. I agree with MooseyMcMan though, it's worth trying to repair the thing if it means seeing the rest of the game through, it's just that good.

I wish you the best of luck this weekend.
