Top 5 Games (from what I currently own)

List items

  • I love the music in this game, plus all the (literally) thousands of music to choose from, with more added regularly. I'm not sure if I like the game play better, but good selection beats that because playing songs you don't like gets boring.

  • This game was incredible when it came out in 2000, and the sequel is just as awesome. It was more free-roam than the original, but barely. The art and story are really great, but combat can get a little boring since the enemies are very predictable and the weapons barely change when you upgrade. A wonderful game, just the same though. Especially for any fan of American McGee.

  • The music that you start with is pretty good, but there isn't as much to choose from as extra content. Playing is really cool because you're on a quest and you have to beat songs in each section to pass to the next part. But there's some sections I hate every song they grouped together, and I didn't like that at all.

  • While a great concept, they could have done a LOT more with this game. This one also can get boring because it gets predictable, and the parts that aren't predictable (there's very few) are so hard they're not worth the change in pace. Funny and interesting, but definitely wish they spent more time on this one.

  • DDR has ALWAYS been something I enjoy. Even with the new dance games for the Kinect, playing DDR sometimes is better. I've been playing this game since I was at least 15 if not way before that. As uncoordinated as I am, even I can appreciate this one. There isn't really much to talk about here though because it's just dancing on arrows that cross the screen in time with music. I actually preferred the games they had for the Original Xbox, probably called UltraMix or something. I haven't tried out the newest one yet, but I'm hoping I like it better than the ones they've made so far. The quest modes and party modes are lacking, and the music choice isn't exactly my favorite. (I sort of hated the 3rd one in this series by the way. I don't know what it was but something about it pissed me off.)
