Let me be clear on this. You have to approve the wallpost from that user before you'll receive the next one? Sometimes I'll go a week before realizing I didn't approve a wallpost!
Not quite. Flood protection is in place to prevent spammers from 'flooding' content onto the site (be it with wall posts, blog posts, forum topics, etc.).
For wall posts, this meant that you could not post on the same user's wall more than two times in a row (without some else posting in between your two posts) within a 48 hour time period. This was a bummer for users who would try to have a conversation using each other's walls.
With the new logic, as long the receiving user has approved your wall posts, you can now leave as many wall posts as you'd like (in a row) on that user's wall.
A number of you have requested that the flood restriction on wall posts be lifted (especially, those of you who use your walls to go back and forth with other users).
We've heard your cries and have modified that feature accordingly.
Old Logic:
No more than two wall posts could be made from one user to another (in a row) within a 48 hour time period.
New Logic:
As long as received posts are approved by the recipient, a user may create as many wall posts (in a row) as needed (to the same user).
As always, enjoy and let us know if you find any bugs :)
Another thing I would like to see is the removal of the two post limit if both users are following each other. This will still eliminate spam, but allow users to have conversations with each other.
