List of some of the worst box art I have seen at the store I work at
Not a list in any particular order, or even the worst I have ever seen. Just some that always make me chuckle.
1. Amazing Island (NGC)
Those awful knock off creatures, that kids tucked in shirt, and his goofy fist pump. Oh SEGA, why do you torment?
2. Pac-Man Fever (PS2) The weird terribly rendered 3D. The Bratz style of moderling done to Heihachi and Astaroth (btw what do they even do in this game?). Pac-Man's eyes freak me out as well as his eyebrows which jut alarmingly out of his bulbous head. I just. I don't get it.
3. Secret Service (X360) Some of Activision's best work in my humble opinion. My friends and I actually came up with an entire movie plot and the principal actors based on this stunning movie poster of a cover. I'll let you weave your own tales...
4. Fugitive Hunter: War on Terror (PS2) The profiles of these men are so cliche and hilarious I couldn't stand it. Particularly the terrorist pirate in the bottom left. The spawn of Patton Oswalt and Scott Shelby in the bottom right also pleases me. Also is that Kane in the top middle?
5. Outlaw sports series (XBOX) I mostly love these ones for their progressively sluttier and sadder covers. The last one is just such over the top gratuitous virtual female nudity I can't even stand it.
