$29.99? Man that seems steep for DLC, no? Have any other single game expansions come out at that high a price-point?

Perhaps it's going to be a stand-alone ala Undead Nightmare? That would be fantastic, I sold SR3 months ago...

$29.99 is kind of the standard expansion pack price as I recall.

My goodness, I must be getting old, because I still think of Half Life Blue Shift and the Quake Mission Packs as expansion packs. For you youngsters out there, Expansion Packs used to come on computer discs (CD-ROMs or even floppies!) and you would need the regular game to play them. They were $40 or $50. It was a simpler, yet more complicated time where everything was more expensive, you had to build your own computers to run the noise, hard drives came in MBs not TBs, Voodoo 2 cards were the shiz and monitors weighed 90 pounds. I wish all of you could have experienced those times when we were happy to pay $50 for an expansion pack because there was nothing else to play but Daikatana!

Now you're all spoiled with your DLCs and DVDs and LCDs and SSDs, not to mention your STD's and ADDs.

Get off my lawn whippersnapper!

Hey, it's Black Ops II, not Black Ops 2. Get your facts straight, son.

Being an old guy, born well before 1980, I think that you kids these days spend a lot of time thinking and worrying about shit that just doesn't matter.

Just go have fun, live life and stop asking so many questions wondering whether or not you're doing it right.

So to sum up...

"Wah, my computer isn't at spec"

"Wah, my ISP sucks, so 35GB is too much"

"Wah, GTA IV sucked on PC"

None of these are this game's fault. Your computer suck? But new stuff. Your ISP sucks? By the box or get a new IP. GTA sucked on PC? What does that have to do with this?

I was but then I decided to embrace the fact that I just flat-out don't like it. It's sitting on the shelf pretty mostly unplayed and I have no intentions on popping it back in any time in the near future. Very regrettable purchase for me but who knows, it wouldn't be the first time that I pop something back in a year or two later and have it "click". I just don't get it. So many people have said so many great things but when I play it the gameplay just feels absolutely terrible.

I'm with you. I've tried starting it 5 times now, each time thinking "this is the time it'll be fun". And then I make it to the police station and realize I absolutely hate how the game handles things like conversations. Plus, going through the metro station and seeing the same idiots breakdancing, always breakdancing, they never stop. No matter how many hours you wander the city, you go back and they're still there, breakdancing. Stupidly enough it's a total immersion killer for me. "Oh look, those clowns are STILL breakdancing". And I want to shoot them. The inventory system is via System Shock 2 circa 1998, the keyboard/mouse controls are not sharp, and the guy sounds like a guy trying to sound like Clint Eastwood. And just shut up with your big ol spiky hair Clint Eastwood faker guy. You suck. I like video games a lot, and I reaaaaaaaaaaaaally want to like this game, but hot damn it is just balls.

Whoa, nice press for MLB.TV, haha. I don't think it would have gotten acknowledged or made news on its own here on GiantBomb or everywhere else if it wasn't tagging along with HBO. As PS3 owners know, it's really not that great of a service.

Wow you're just so incredibly wrong. But hey, opinions.

So incredibly? I don't think the video service has been that good for me to be incredibly wrong.

Incredibly, I find that it's been incredible for me. Perhaps I have an incredible connection or something. Perhaps, incredibly, your service hasn't been that incredible. I find that to be potentially credible.
