Just bought this today. Started my first character, a thief. Made my way through the asylum without any problems (barring the unusual control scheme prompting me to chug a flask instead of swinging my knife), and landed in Lordran. Killed a few skeletons in the graveyard by carefully pulling them in groups of no more than two and patiently waiting for my opportunity to backstab / using the lunging attack to knock their head off then backstabbing them while they sort themselves out. Picked up the winged spear before being chased by a gargantuan skeleton back to the bonfire where I chickened out. Also met some guy who wanted me to join a covenant to learn miracles, but given that I have no idea what a covenant is I backed out.

Still have yet to die, but I am loving this game so far, so tense and mysterious. Also it looks great at 1920x1200.

• Improved game credit system (I want the ability to sort based on job title etc.)
• Ability to compare games and search for common elements
• A more templated system for the wiki, e,g, a default layout for wiki pages that is different based on whether it is a person, game, concept etc.

I realise that these are much more back end stuff and won't be appearing in any kind of site redesign. Realistically I'd like to see a better way of highlighting what people in the community are doing with the site.

Hard to tell since I was less than three years old, but it was definitely on the Zx Spectrum, probably Sabre Wulf or Atic Atac.

Republic Commando I assume. Played the first three in that list, loved Darksiders (although I really get a Soul Reaver vibe from it moreso than Zelda) and Republic Commando, didn't enjoy M&B and I don't play MMOs. Would love to have a go on MH though.

So Khaldor is throwing up titbits about HotS on twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/khaldor - mostly Terrain at the moment, presumably because the Battle Report was PvZ.

Couple of notables:

• There is no hero Thor, you can still build multiples
• Warhounds don't have anti-air
• Hellions are in battle-mode by default (similar to how the Viking is in air-mode by default)
• Widow mines are built from the factory, cost 75/25, benefit from reactor and you can load 4 into a medivac.

Cristina Vee should have her birth name "Cristina Valenzuela" added.

Don't have a precise time, but I'm pretty sure it's in between an hour and 15mins from the end. There's a point where they're going start talking to Will & Norm, and Jaffe asks have they ever had women on the E3 bombcasts. Should be able to scrub through fairly easily.

Poor and / or unresponsive controls.

Random difficulty spikes combined with poor checkpointing (especially for sections where it checkpoints before an unskippable cutscene).

Instant fail conditions - these are probably the things that set me off the most, especially if there's an element of chance involved with them, there is nothing worse IMO.
