I have this trinity of games that almost made me cry:
  
- Metal Gear Solid 3 (that ending is intense; probably strongest depiction of betrayal and disappointment I've ever witnessed)
- Silent Hill 2 (letter and "in water" ending)
- Shadow of the Colossus (bitter-sweet is the right term here)

Parents are always proud of their children, no matter how ugly they are.
 
Anyway...

1. He helped developing the game and thus lacks necessary distance to judge it.
2. He says it in order to boost sales.
3. He probably knows shit about good games.

But I gotta know this: Is it REALLY necessary to stop drinking beer? Are there alternatives that are allowed? Like wine or something? I guess weed would do the trick but I'm more after the drunk-feeling.

You're just looking at it the wrong way, i'm not saying his opinion is not valid, im saying its influencing the way you look at the game.  Example : I bought Wheelman on 360 this weekend, 10$ im loving it, its great. If i would've paid 70$ for it though, we would certainly talk about the many issues it has. "
