Does this quick look talk about the completely busted Switch version? If not and you're thinking of picking it up don't. The myplayer cutscenes run at single digit fps and it constantly freezes. With no way to skip it you'll be stuck in these busted ass cutscenes for minutes after the voice acting has ended.
100% this. I wish I didn't get it for the switch. I hope that is fixed. They typically lag it big time on updates for these games though.
I just got my rift a few days ago. Holy crap Asetto Corsa looks amazing in it, I truly feel like I'm in the car.
Project Cars, while being a better looking game, actually renders poorly in the rift compared to AC.
The issue I currently have with the rift though is my glasses are too big and get pushed in really hard I fear I may break them. I ordered a smaller pair to hopefully fix this.
Whether this is ultimately good or bad sign I don't know. Blowing out stock before a new revision...or blowing out stock because Facebook is done messing with VR?
I'm tempted, but the market/standards fragmentation and the notion (which may admittedly be incorrect, but it's the impression I get) that more things work better with the Vive is scaring me away. Proprietary games/tech between Oculus and Valve was such a boneheaded move.
I bit the bullet and ordered one. I've been wanting to get one for the race sims anyways. The price drop gave me the green light.
