Looks like I will be sinking more money into my nostalgia haha

Also, anyone notice that on the box it says "eight separate societies" in the plain text and then on the bold and large description on the box it says "7 societies" Wonder if that was a mistake or not haha

You know it is too bad because the game looks great and was awesome to get such an "up-close and personal" view of the StarCraft Universe.  A lot of people who played the multiplayer said it was a lot of fun but "wonky."  I was really looking forward to this game for so long and although Blizzard said they might touch on this in the future, I honestly doubt they will make this their first plunge into console gaming.  But who knows, Blizzard is one of a handfull of companies in the gaming industry that you would be wise to not try and predict.  These guys have standards for a reason.

Ok you say "personally the only reason why people are still playing it." what does that even mean?  When someone says "personally" they mean for themselves but you're speaking for everyone it seems, and you'd be wrong.  Ladder games are constantly being played out.  There are still cash tournaments for War3 the world over, and people still visit replay sites daily to watch replays and learn how to be a great player.

So maybe to you, someone who only plays Dota, you might think that no one plays normal War3... but of course you would think that, you only play Dota! lol  But believe me, I play both, the Ladder is still alive and well with many different players in all of the different modes, from solo to AT, to RT and FFA the game is alive and well.  That is why Dota isn't essential to be here, but rather in a guide as Zuul stated; and more importantly Dota has no bearings on War3's success.  Dota was made about 2 years after War3:TFT launched, it wasn't very popular then, it didn't become popular till about 3 years after the launch.

I think that the DotA section should be added as a part of the "guide" section with a referance in this place pointing towards the guide.
"
Yeah I think that is a great idea actually.

Hey I am getting a problem with the Guides portion of the site.

I am using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox and when I visit http://www.giantbomb.com/guides/ everything loads fine.  But once I click on "Start Now" at the top, the editting window pops open, but the problem is I can't see anything because the "How to" video stays on-top the whole time so I can't see the fields I am trying to edit...  The video can still be played/paused while like this as well so it isn't just cosmetic, it really is being read as being on top... at least on my side.
