The Slender Man is still as menacing as ever Much like the original Slender, Slender: The Arrival has a bone chilling atmosphere, a well done sense of loneliness, and the rare appearance of the Slender Men that keeps the player tensed up till it's released in the most horrifying of ways. The humorous back stories add personality to the characters Arrowhead Game Studios is known for their hit game Magicka, the pop culture filled wizard game had interesting mechanics and a fun sense of humor; for their next game, The Showdown Effect, Arrowhead doesn't back down when it comes to the humor and mechanics, instead they pack it all into one $10 game that has a sense of style.After jumping into a match, you’re going to understand the kind of tone that this game creates for its self. More stats and variations on the weapons gives the combat a little more flair in Borderlands 2 Borderlands' vast array of weapons and fun co-op play was what made it fun and exciting. But its generic firefights and setting held it back from becoming more than just a fun replacement for Left 4 Dead.
