Why something decent can't have a fanbase like these (fairly poorly written) books, I don't know.

You aren't serious are you? No joke but the HP series are among the few modern classics! You have no idea what you're on about!

@Bombs_Away: I'm getting old. But still love it! :D

@Chabbs0: Interactive website. Also going to be community based, join houses, win points etc. New information and so on.
There is still a lot left unsaid about the site but I presume that it will come in time! :)

Yeah I agree. Although a bit of background on SOME characters (and only some) would be interesting!
I like the fact that one can choose their house and win house points and so on.

I like HP and all... But I dunno.

It's kinda going to be an interactive community so hopefully something will come of it!

@suikoden352
:  Ha! Impressive! I'm kinda disappointed that it wasn't a new book (with nothing to do with the Harry Potter universe) that  she was releasing. I'm still excited for this and will be at the early launch (hopefully I'll get in ;))
Looking forward to the final film just as much. I've had my tickets for the opening night in my local cinema booked for the opening night months now! Going to be fun!

So I've just watched J.K Rowling's announcement and boy am I excited!

I've been a huge fan of the books since they were launched (11 years ago already mind you) and have not turned back soon. Constantly re-reading, listening to and watching anything to do with Harry Potter! This announcement comes as somewhat of a surprise as well as somewhat of a relief that J.K is re-visiting the Harry Potter universe but not as we know or would expect!

If you don't know what I'm on about head HERE or HERE to find out more!

I generally buy my games new. The games that I buy pre-owned (which I answered) are the ones I think that I think I won't like. I also frequently buy sports games pre-owned. Rarely do I buy games pre-owned if I can avoid it however.

@Mr_Skeleton: ha! Thats brilliant! Well there is the Game of Thrones: Genesis game coming out this year but to be fair it doesn't look all that good! So suppose you could say it's more than semi related ;)

No, that dude is not Liam Neeson. The character's name is Jaquen Hagar and he will play a pivotal role in Arya's further development.
I wouldn't say no just yet. Looks exactly like him and nothing is revealed about who it is. the @gameofthrones twitter account says they can't reveal anything yet so they haven't denied it.

When a TV show attracts a name like that, they usually flaunt it in everybody's face and use it to promote their show. Casting calls like that are rarely kept secret.   Logic tells me that he's not Liam Neeson, but time will tell.
True! I've myself convinced of it. But they are keeping casting very quiet for season 2 as it is. As you said time will tell ;)

@crazyleaves Indeed. I forgot about the fifth book coming out! I'd recommend you watch the show! If your a fan of the books you'll love the show!

@blackmoore It was fantastic! I've been looking at the game and it is less than appealing. The need to give it a far more Age of Empires feel and game style to work in my opinion! Must check out Mount and Blade.
