Running community events can be a cool thing to do. We had race nights, Starcraft tournaments, that sort of thing.
And yeah, do some blogs, edit the wiki, write reviews. If you make some cool fanmade thing, the mods might feature you on the front page (User Community Showcase).
Scott Bromley has left now too. Is Rev3 even a thing anymore? Tara is the only one left now right?
Also Tara wouldn't fit here at all IMHO.
I'll be honest, I didn't much care for Scott, but that's still interesting to know. I started watching Rev3Games due to Adam, and stopped watching Rev3Games directly after Adam left. I like Tara, but that was about it (oh, and that other guy with glasses that does the other thing with her, about science or whatever, not Nick), though not enough to stick around there.
Anthony Carboni is the glasses man.
The Adam/Max/Tara trifecta was a glorious time for Rev3. Max and Tara had great chemistry since they did the Destructoid show for so long, and once he left the channel lost some of its more laid back appeal. Adam leaving didn't really surprise me, but I'm glad Tara has some other stuff going on since the place is falling apart. Really curious if they'll go to E3 since you need a grizzled vet like Adam to host their style of coverage.
Anyway, that three person team was amazing and I watched every video they did. It had become my second go-to site behind Giant Bomb. Half as long, twice as bright.
If you never had a DS, then there's a good back catalog for you to start looking into. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, the Mega Man Zero Collection, and Chrono Trigger are all wonderful, and I've heard nothing but good things about Radiant Historia.
Theatrythm Final Fantasy was supposed to be a good rhythm game for Final Fantasy fans, if you've got nostalgia for those games.
All of this is accurate.
And I just bought Super Mario Bros. 3 again after watching them play NES Remix 2. I regret nothing.
This is gonna have a weird effect on the Angry Video Game Nerd movie.
If that film ever sees the light of day.
Biggest hoax of the century, you sheeple can believe in it if you want to.

Whatever guys, go put your tin foil hats back on. This was on the internet, why the hell would they lie to us? About an extra terrestrial, of all things.
