Haha try over 1000 hours in Minecraft. Almost all of that was spent playing alone. Yeah back in high school I didn't really spend any time with friends. I've changed now. I spend a lot of time with my squad, and I also work now. So I rarely get to play games these days.
I haven't really been playing games consistently these last few months. I play Nuclear Throne most days, but I have only been playing that for a month. I might start getting into Terraria again thanks to the 1.3 update. I never even finished the content from 1.1 and 1.2. So hopefully this gives me the drive to finish. It's hard to do it only playing singleplayer. I really want one of my friends to play it with me.
The Binding of Isaac's deal with the devil. You sacrifice hp for items. Spelunky's ghost is also pretty great. It's scary because you cant afford to make a single mistake.
Most of my most played games aren't on Steam, like Minecraft, the first 3 Halo games, and several Call of Duty games. I'm pretty sure I've played more Minecraft than my 10 most played steam games combined.
Terraria - 266
The Binding of Isaac - 242
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth - 162
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition - 107
Spelunky - 101
Dark Souls 2 - 64
Nuclear Throne - 42 I honestly can't believe how much time I spent on this already considering I've had it for less than a month.
Bastion, The Last of Us, and Red Dead Redemption. Those are amazing games, and do not need a sequel. While all three had great dlc, they didn't feel as though they were just trying to take as much money from consumers as possible.
Terraria and Minecraft are also fantastic games that I don't think need sequels. Minecraft would only need a more stable game engine, a tutorial and a crafting system like the console versions that helps explain the game to new players, and making all the community created stuff like skins and mods easier to implement. A for Terraria, I can't even really think of what they're going to do with that Terraria spinoff other than add new enemies, npc's, and items. Oh yeah also make multiplayer easier to use.
I never played Nier, but based solely on the quick look I thought it looked boring as hell. Reading some of these comments makes it seem like there might be a decent game in there, but none of that was apparent in the quick look. People need to learn how to make game intros fun.
A couple years I tried to play through this game since I had never played it. I used a walkthrough because in every Zelda game I get stuck at some point. I made it to the second to last dungeon in the game and realized I was just not enjoying the game so I stopped playing. I don't really understand how people think it's one of the best games of all time. I've enjoyed every other Zelda I've played a lot more.
Honestly I've been blessed to never really live in a bad area. I guess when I was a kid we stayed in a bad neighborhood while our house was being built elsewhere. But I'm only 18 and still live with my parents, so I still got a lot of time to live in bad places.
On another note, I love Florida. I've spent the last 14 years in northwestern Florida and northeastern Florida. The people are very kind. Seriously last week I lost my wallet which had my social security card in it at a Wal-Mart and within ten minutes somebody turned it in with everything still in it. Another benefit is the amount of great theme parks. Also you are never far from a beach, which might be the best part of living here. The weather in general is great. While it can get pretty hot and humid here in the summer, I will gladly deal with that over the snow up north during winter. One thing I do hate about how bipolar Florida is when it comes to rain. It will switch between pouring rain and beautiful sunlight multiple times a day. But overall, I love Florida and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
