Maybe one day they'll even sell 4.5 inch phones with 720p resolution screens.

As someone who grew up in America and moved to a different country, I see this on a daily basis. $100 takes on a whole different meaning outside the US.

You act like everywhere outside the US is poor. 100 American dollars is a not a lot of money in many other countries. In Japan some games cost that much.

$100 is entirely reasonable. The only thing Valve did wrong is not charge it from the beginning.

I don't have a commute but I love being able to play games on dedicated handhelds, usually in front of the TV. I'll be getting a 3DS XL next month to play Theatrhythm and eventually Shin Megami Tensei IV, and my wife will use it to play the new Animal Crossing.

And I'll use my iPhone for light web surfing, email and twitter.

Giant Bomb should hire a copy editor.
