It took me about 60 hours to S rank it. If you're at all good at games the "No Death" achievements are nothing, if they pop. I had to go through world 3 about 5 times to get it to pop. The Elite Armor set is the hardest to do. I traded for all of mine but the guy I traded with told me he didn't even get his first Elite armor drop for about 200 hours. There is one of two co-op achievements too so you may have issues with those.

Besides all that it's a fantastic game. It has it's issues but I absolutely loved playing it and I really wish it had done better so we could get those sequels.

If you're farming achievements then do the "Don't Take Damage" ones first. Those will be way easier to do without the WOTL content. Once those are out of the way go ahead and buy it because it's awesome.

It's a decent game. The action is fun and the environments look cool. What killed it for me was the pacing. You're going at a good clip until you hit the first big city. Then the game grinds to a halt as you run around talking, talking and doing even more talking. I get RPGs have dialog but most of this is just boring. It's part of what killed Oblivion for me, every NPC doesn't need to have dialog trees and tell you their life story. Bethesda fixed this with Skyrim and I've played other RPGs (Drakensang) that get NPC dialog right. This unfortunately isn't one of those games. Like Jeff said in the Quicklook this would of been an awesome 30 hour game.

Baldur's Gate 2 sounds like fun. It has my vote.

You can kill kids in Deus Ex. I guess thats disturbing if you value childrens lives more than anyone elses.
You can kill kids in the first Fallout also. You'll eventually earn the Child Killer trait and people will hate you and I think they'll hunt you down too.

As far as horror games I didn't see the big deal with Amnesia. I thought it was a good game but I didn't really find it scary. I'm more scared by "jump" scares and that game was more of a creepy atmospheric scary.
Crystasis on the other hand freaked out, some of the ways dudes jump out at you, I had to turn the game off.

If you want to talk about games the majority considered bad then I've played a few. Kane and Lynch comes to mind first while panned like crazy I loved it. Loved it so much I bought the 360 and PC versions. The next game is Too Human which I really, really enjoyed. I heard all the hate and picked it up anyway but damn it was a fun game.

Of recent memory the only game I've played that I thought was crap was Kane and Lynch 2. Story shouldn't of focused on Lynch, he's not a good main character.

I think most of mine have already been covered in previous posts but I still want to list them.

Unlockable Hard Mode - I want it from the start

Unskippable Cut scenes - If I need to play a game twice to play it's hard mode I don't want to see the story twice.

Having to press a button a bunch when one press would work - As in opening chests and doors in the first God of War and opening grates in Arkham Asylum.

When a game's difficulty ramps up for the last level or boss - Assassin's Creed 1 comes to mind for me but there are others that do it too. Not complaining about a challenge but a game shouldn't go from 10 to 1000 just for the end.

Level caps in single player RPGs - If I want to play a game and grind my guy to some godly level I should have the option of doing that.

DLC that increases the level cap in single player RPGs - Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I don't think Gearbox charged for Borderlands' level cap increase.

Games without subtitles - Some game characters can be hard to hear or if it's an alien or monster you can't always understand. Plus I'm still old school and I do like to read dialog in games sometimes.

When the overall game volume is too low - The modern Medal of Honor is 100 percent guilty of this, I had the game and my headphones maxed and I still couldn't hear much.

That's all I can think of right now.

im prob the only one to say this but call of duty 3 it was my first fps other than goldeneye and halo so I loved the campaign and multiplayer
I liked COD3 a lot, for the little bit of time Treyarch had to put it out I think they did a great job. With that said I still have to go with COD4 as my favorite.
but cod 3 invented the option of throwing back a grenade, they revolutionized the series, to a certain extent
Yes it did and I do think people just don't realize Treyarch has added some stuff to the series.
