Rosetta Stone is a good resource when coupled with a language class. Alone, it's not very useful at all. Spend that money on an introductory Japanese course instead (assuming you have the time) and you'll learn a lot more.

I uh... that was the point? It says, right there. Literally right there. Instead of listing every game ever, it's a sampling throughout history.

It's a sampling throughout history because "great female protagonists" are few and far between (which is actually the point!) and you had to resort to listing a game that came out in 1982 and features a yellow dot that wears a bow.
