Listening to Cop Knife for the first time was a wonderful experience. 

Could this be a return of the 2D beat em up?

I used to build all my PCs, but I recently just broke down and bought a custom one from Digital Storm. The margins are so low these days that I'm willing to spend a little bit extra for piece of mind and a warrranty. 
 
That being said, anything above $1,000 should be fine for a great gaming rig. Unfortunately, PC games aren't exactly improving at a crazy rate when it comes to graphics (probably because a majority of games coming out are optimized for console platforms or low-end PCs). 
 
Still, there's just something awesome about playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 at 60 FPS

edit: I just figured out a nice workaround with Yahoo pipes - I'll write it up later.

I'd personally rather pay for a mobile optimized site then have an ad-supported mobile site. 
 
Screen real estate is already at a premium with mobile devices, ads in applications take up a lot more space than an ad on a desktop.
