I'm looking forward to Valhalla and Legion.

I enjoyed both the previous games... I'm still playing Odyssey 180 hours in!

Valhalla does look suspiciously similar, but it is mostly set in England, and as a Brit who lives in an town that carries a Viking name, and close to the scene of one of the biggest Viking battles known about, I am definitely ready for that.

For similar reasons I'm looking forward to Legion. If nothing else I'll get to play around in London. I've always dreamed of a modern GTA set in London, and this is probably the closest we'll get to it.

For all the griping about Ubi churning out the same game again and again, Legion actually looks pretty experimental and adventurous to me.

It's a shame Skull and Bones seems to have disappeared, I liked the sound of that.

Sony isn't going to talk about PSV2 the same year their luanching a $500 box. These are odd expectations for a first look PS5 stream.

I agree, but they did show an HD camera peripheral without explaining what it was for, which seemed odd to me.

I don't think it is necessarily a given that there will be a "pro" version in the next generation. This time around it was 4K that drove it. Although 8K is on the horizon, it looks like it will be pretty expensive, and there are diminishing returns with doubling the resolution time an time again.

To my eyes, the leap from HD to 4K had far less of a wow factor than SD to HD. Unless you want an absolutely massive TV, I'm not sure 8K will be worth the upgrade for many.

These new machines are sounding pretty capable, and could well last the distance for a generation. What I can see as being more likely is a revised version with a much bigger SSD. This would encourage customers to buy more games, after all.

Personally, I'll be jumping in straight away. If they do get a boost three or four years down the line, then so be it.

We had our third "Clap for Carers" tonight in the UK.

Every Thursday at 8pm people come out of their homes, stand at their gates and clap for the NHS workers putting their lives on the line to save people.

I live on a fairly quiet suburban street. We haven't seen our neighbours all week while on lockdown.

Tonight everyone was out clapping. The chap who lives opposite was wearing a full Star Wars Scout Trooper costume, and his wife was wearing am Inferno Squadron outfit from Battlefront 2!

While we were clapping a double-decker bus came down the street, honking its horn to join in. There is a good chance the few people on board were NHS workers, as it was the bus that goes straight to the hospital. I'm sure they got the message that we are all behind them.

Our kids were banging saucepans to join in.

I'm normally a cynical sort, but I found the clap for carers very moving.

@shindig: It's down significantly. The number we keep hearing is about a 60% reduction. Many airlines have parked a major chunk of their fleet in the desert for the time being. I think Europe is down even further.

Yeah, my local airport is down to one morning flight to Amsterdam and that's it. Hopefully Europe can get back into action maybe before the summer's out.

Just checked my local airport, Southend. On flight today, to Derry.

As of a couple of hours ago we are now in lockdown in the UK.

I'm working from home now, which is not so easy now the kids are home from school too.

Both me and the wife are classed as key workers, so we can technically send our children to school, but we don't want to take the risk as things are clearly getting very serious.

The decision to shut schools has finally taken place in the UK. I'm a journalist and have been working from home all week, which was actually quite useful today as I could pick the kids up from school, get a quote from the headteacher and a pic of my kids doing the elbow bump as they left school for the front page.

So I'm now working from home and the schools are out for the indefinite future. My wife works in a school, so she's probably grounded too.

Thank god for video games!

Still no proper shutdown in the UK and it's as weird as hell. We are seeing people wearing face masks in the rest of the word and we are still marching our kids to school every morning like everything is fine.

We are told not to go to pubs, clubs or restaurants, but they have not been told to close.

I really don't know what our government thinks it is doing.

I'm pretty sure the UK schools will shut soon, one way or another.

With the advice to stay at home if anyone in the family has a cough, any parent or teacher has a free pass to stay away.

My wife works in a school, and got an email from the head after Boris's speech asking staff if they were intending to come in the next day... almost as if hoping for an excuse to shut up shop.

In the UK, here, and things have got weird.

We are being told to work from home, not go to pubs, the theatre, clubs, restaurants or events... but nothing is being closed by law.

And the schools are being kept open, so people will have a hard time taking the rest of the advice seriously.

Boris's plan is either foolhardy or genius.
