@steveurkel: It's actually way better than that. It turns LttP into a run-based adventure game. He has a lot of items at the start, but pretty soon he hits the problem of, e.g., "I don't have a lamp or bow to progress through this dungeon" - and so a bunch of exploration is needed to try and find a lamp and bow. What can be found and where gets peeled back gradually, testing your knowledge of LttP, while also working your memory in terms of remembering where you've checked, what you can check, and so on.
@chalkcharmer: Mouse-control for cameras can be really snappy and jittery. For the sake of the viewer/production, and to have a generally smoother look, they preferred showing the game w/ a controller.
