@CaLe: There's a rail at the top of it that's more toward the left side of it, like right at the crest. Then you could just jump off the rail to the left and continue that way. I've found that I get the biggest scores finding big air on more than just the actual lit jumps, doing weird loop-dee-loops in the frozen river, pulling über tricks each time. Also, repeating tricks is VERY BAD for your score, but also mostly for your boost! If you repeat a trick it hardly gives you any boost and in a race where you need it, that sucks. So get good at planning out your upcoming tricks fast, and make sure they're different but still worth hella points. Or just shred and have fun! That's what I do. I get bigger bonerz from just finding a line that flows super well and continually stomping disgusting tricks and going super fast. This demo fuckin' rules.

It took me a little while but I got gold in both events! Feels good, man. The new controls are sick. Also, HAVE YOU SEEN THIS FUCKING GAME?!? IT IS BAT SHIT CRAZY NUTS. Handles SUPER well, very responsive and fun as fuck.

I don't know anything about DLC or a season pass, but I'm all for yearly SSX. I'd love to see skiing brought back into the mix. I LOVED that in On Tour. They actually did it really well too.

@BPRJCTX: I would recommend skiing to you. It's pretty easy to pick up and it's fun as shit. You can get going SUPER fast and still stop safely. I've done about 65 MPH on skis and it was the thrill of a lifetime, so fucking great. And when you fall, you can sort of make it easier on yourself and it won't put you out of the game for too long! Then once you get good, get some twin tip skis and hit up the park, SSX On Tour FOR REAL.

About the demo: I AM SO FUCKING STOKED IM GONNA PUKE. SHIT. SSX LOOKS SO NASTY DIRTY SICK AND AWESOME. I'm anticipating it's going to take me a long-ass time to get burned out on this game, so I'm gonna practice the demo over and over and o'er so I can get a feel for the controls and be competitive in the xbox GiantBomb SSX Events! See you assholes on the mountain!

Do you think that it's possible he was just referring to an actual 'run'? Like, as a specific event. Maybe there's still some sort of way (like starting your own custom event online and just staying alone and not starting an event so you can just cruise as long as you can?)

I dunno. I'm definitely gonna look into this, I LOVED in SSX 3 and especially in On Tour where you could start at the very top and go ALL the way done. Took like 24 minutes, so much freaking fun. That's how I used to expose myself to new music. I'd put on a new record I'd never heard and just shred while I took it in. Real zen meditation man. So stoked for this game.

This looks SO sick. The only thing I don't like about these demo vids is that these dudes fucking breakdance the course. I'm sure I'll try to do that too in order to get the gold medals and beat everything, but does anyone else love just launching off a MASSIVE jump and pulling the hugest, longest tweaked out method ever? It's the kind of thing that at 3 in the morning in my silent house, I say out loud and proud: "haha, fuck yeah dude!"
