Colorblindness be damned!

I don't care much for the logo, but big fucking deal. It's a logo.

And what's the deal with the Syfy Kids bullshit? What an odd thing to add.

But silly labels and lousy logo redesigns be damned! I will be getting de Blob 2 in February and since it's gone multiplatform, you now have no excuse not to get it... unless you don't care for this type of platforming. The first de Blob was a blast to play and the developers sound like they listened to the fans and made some tweaks that could make the sequel even better. Definitely check out Giant Bomb's Quick Look of de Blob 2. THQ thought today would be a good day to inundate the internet with de Blob 2 news and previews and I give Giant Bomb props for the lengthy look into the game. Definitely check it out.

"  To kick off Syfy Kids with a bang, Syfy has teamed up with two of the most exciting organizations working in youth-oriented media. Leading interactive entertainment developer  THQ  will be collaborating with Syfy Kids to extend its properties beyond the world of video gaming. The first title to be featured will be the quirky, colorful  de Blob ® , which presented the adventures of a lovable, yet edgy title character seeking to bring color to a monochrome world. de Blob ®  is one of the breakout titles on the Nintendo Wii and one of the most acclaimed games of 2009. "

Now, I don't know about most acclaimed. 2009 was a pretty good year. But De Blog got it's fair share of love, right?

@Sweep: It definitely wasn't one of the most acclaimed games of 2009... de Blob came out in 2008.

But the reviews were mostly positive and I know I really liked it.

This reminds me of all the cool Wii games I missed. I think this holiday instead of buying one or two new games buy some less expensive ones on the Wii. I could easily score 5 games.

I always wanted to play the first one, but I don't have a wii so I was shit out of luck. Did play it on iPhone though, but that wasn't what I'd call good.

Agreed, between the music tied to a color picked up along with just simple trial & error will make a game like this possible for just about anyone to pick up & play. I know when I get my hands on the Nintendo Wii I'll definitely grab the first one but glad that this one is out on the other consoles.

Reviews are good for getting a good idea if a game is a tthe high or low end of the spectrums, anything in between is up for grabs with anyone to find something to enjoy about it.
