My bet would be 360 since it's widely accepted to have the better controller/sticks. Depends how hardcore people are though, if they play with arcade sticks then controllers wouldn't even factor in. XBL is more stable than PSN generally. Sorry if that sounds fan-boyish but that is my objective opinion mixed with commonly accepted opinion. PS3 is a more powerful console :D

The best sticks for shooters, but the worst d-pad for fighters. It's not even funny how bad.

@glottery: Why would he leave? It's not like it's a real hostile work environment, or the asbestos levels are rising in the building. I mean really. They might argue for a while... then go play video games for a living. Tough life. You'd have to be pretty fragile and/or stupid to up end your career, friendship or working relationship because of a disagreement about a game (which is kind of what you're there to do as a critic begin with).

He wouldn't. After being a member of this community for a couple of years, I felt like I finally had to make my contribution into the olde "Brad's leaving" meme.

Ah Ic.

It felt like Brads DOTA brain was leading in his outlook on shooters as a whole. That PvZ has enough whimsy and class based "load outs" doesn't negate the fact that it'll most likely be played like all of the other games of its ilk. It isn't as team dependent as he's making it out to be when the end goals are the same.

Ah. You're right. Those all started and ended in one Generation of home consoles, but Resistance and MN had crossed platform over to the PSP, so technically across two generations of handhelds and one home console.

Gears of War and God of War, I don't think a lot of people want game 5 in these franchises.

Both of these are far from dead. Quite the opposite I would think.
Is it too early to throw the SSX series on the funeral pier yet? I can't see them coming back from the last two that abandoned everything that we loved from the originals, even with the cool new additions made.

Mod Nation racing.
And The Prince of Persia series is probably dead until Assassins Creed is done. I don't hold out hope for them bringing that back in a big way other than on mobile maybe.

My guess is that everyone wised up to her nonsense and ignored her, so her videos didn't have the same "world destroying" effect as her kickstarter did. No hype, no press. No press, no publicity. If there's no publicity involved, then there's no way for her to launch her career as a... pundit? Critic? Anyone know if this woman has a real job? Anywho, people saw what she had to say and either A) agreed with it or B) realized she's full of shit and not worth listening to.

So my guess is if the series is orphaned, nobody will care and the people that do will quietly judge those who funded the kickstarter in the first place. As it should be.

Oh I don't know about that. I'd say that there was a ton of hype and press surrounding the first video. It''s all that people would talk about for weeks after release in both 140 character limited form and across forums and blogs. There were interviews that gained enough traction for just one video.
I think that it didn't carry as much weight as one might expect because there were real scenarios in the game dev world that ended up taking center stage.
Her efforts seemed to be reduced slightly by the #1reason campaigns and the continual head desk moments at conferences. These were less hyperbolic, and carried real experiences and problems that she couldn't have, and hasn't to date addressed with any working knowledge.
