That's actually a pretty cool idea. Nerdy for sure, but cool.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a fun game to play. If you really don't want to be bothered with the story, you can skip the cutscenes and still get a lot of enjoyment out of the game.

I can't say I've had someone blank me like that before. In that scenario, I would just blank them back, or find something else to do for a moment.

What? You can get burgers for a dollar in America?

Last time I went to a McDonalds here in Australia I paid $5 for a McChicken burger.

I don't generally go to McDonalds.

Yeah. You think anyone would pay more than a dollar for this crap here? I don't think we even sell a $5 sandwich here in the States.

I used to get the McDouble, but recently they upped the price from $1 to $1.50. Probably to preempt minimum wage becoming $9 in July, so I no longer eat at McDonald's. Fuck minimum wage. It just makes everything more expensive.

$1.50 for a McDouble? $9 minimum wage? Where do you live? It's $1.20 and $7.25 here.

Northern California. They have been $1 for at least 5 years. I remember it as far back as 2008 which is the last time minimum wage was increased. I can only assert that the new hike is what caused the items to jump off the dollar menu.

That could be part of it, but they took it off the dollar menu all across the country about 6 month ago. I'd say it has a lot to do with rising beef prices. Do they charge $1 for a McChicken there?

It's been a few years since I've been on here - I was one of the users that signed up on day one. I've gotta admit, that bit about 'many users have left us' was a bit depressing. But it's good to see that there's still a good community here. And hey, this is still Giant Bomb! The best website dedicated to gaming, period.

I don't think a $50 increase is a dealbreaker, especially when the Xbox One is still $50 more. It's still cheaper than buying and maintaining a gaming PC.

I bought GTA IV on PC yesterday, but I haven't even been able to play the single player because I can't connect to the Social Hub.

At this point I don't even care if GTA V comes out on PC.
