The Forgotten List of Funny or Entertaining Quick Looks

There are plenty of lists out there of people's funniest or favorite Quick Looks. Those lists are all great, but they all have the same games on them. Here is my list of games whose QLs have some great entertainment value, but might have been forgotten under the shadow of more famous videos.

List items

  • Ryan and Vinny visit places like Phatlantis, survive Jupiter's giant chicken, and try to figure out why Romans cry tears of milk in this fighting game for the Wii.

  • Ryan and Vinny discuss topics such as "beard and hammer ratio to evil laughter" and "nipple zippers" all while creating monsters and causing mass destruction.

  • Jeff and Vinny take it to the arcade classics. They also prove they are bad dudes that can punch up like, "Unh. Unh." And they can breakdance. All-around fun.

  • This is for the final release (although the Beta was fun too). Ryan has a wonderful surprise for Vinny. In fact it's an entire package of surprises. Nothing beats a mix of genuine excitement from Vinny, calling in a crew of assassins, and stabbing people in the face.

  • Specifically, this refers to the QL involving the co-op mission. When four office chums learn about the dueling feature in Borderlands co-op, who is going to keep the peace when Brad's gun keeps being stolen?

  • While it is true that this Quick Look by Jeff and Ryan is slow, that is only because of the game. The banter is pretty hilarious throughout. And all Ryan wants is to punch someone.

  • Alex and Jeff look at this linear style undead killer revamp. Another QL slowed by the game, it is definitely worth watching just for the surprise Star Trek references dropped by Jeff. The game looks good too. Patrick Stewart.

  • Follow Brad, Ryan, and Vinny as they continue to prove why no one likes playing multiplayer platformers with people they are going to have to talk or work with in the next few weeks.

  • Specifically, the Broken Steel DLC Quick Look. The first 10 minutes are Jeff in full rage mode, the middle is some funny banter (including Ryan trying to gingerly explain how to buy sex with drinks in Fallout), and in the end... everyone dies. It's an explosive episode.

  • Another Ryan and Jeff QL, filled to the rafters with wit, humor, and Jeff's particular brand of Star Trek and pervy comments. In other words, class - all the way.
