Dan's Games Of The Year 2018

	1. Red Dead Redemption 2 This game is a masterpiece the amount of polish and variety is unparalleled, it is not perfect the controls can be frustrating and some of the decisions are questionable. But even though it is one of the most awesomely realized worlds in a game ever and so beautiful.
	2. Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age I can't believe how good this JRPG is, so beautiful, so fun. Just can't recommend it enough.
	3. Tetris Effect Can you make a better Tetris game, oh yeah you can this is it, I haven't had such a good time playing Tetris in forever.
	4. Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Another incredibly beautiful and fun JRPG the changes from the first game are plenty and it has a cool city building feature, the combat changes are fresh and enjoyable and its like playing a anime.
	5. The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories Swery continues to make incredible games, this game is so powerful and one of the greatest stories with a very underrepresented population getting the spotlight and the struggles they go through. Love it so much.
	6. Marvel's Spider-Man Insomniac can make beautiful games, and fun ones. The city is beautiful and the traversal is so good.
	7. God of War Wow this sorta shocked me how good it was, Corey Balrog really made a powerful game, and god damn is it beautiful.
	8. Life Is Strange 2 Only one episode has come out so far for this but boy is it good, Dontnot has quickly become on of my favourite studios and in the fallout of telatale games its great to see someone carrying on the adventure game genre with polish and good tech!
	9. Donut County So fun, and some of the best writing I have ever seen in a game. You owe it to yourself to play this game!
	10. Detroit: Become Human The story may have some struggling points and david cage may not have to the chops to pull off his grand vision for this game, but the story does have some strong points and it is such a beautiful game. Stunning at times.

@johnsolo: The mini header has been working for about a week, I think it was just the one video for some reason that made it disappear when they changed the highlighted video it returned. I can't remember what video it was now though. Thank you so much for this extension it makes GB so much better to use.

I came to post this exact thing. Mini appears to be broken.

I just discovered gbturbo and its great, Its just really sad I need to use an extension to make the site slightly more user friendly.

I have definitely wore Giant Bomb shirts on airplanes unintentionally but only flying in country here in Canada and I it has never been an issue

My only wish for the enthusiast app is that they used the API calls to sync playback progress with the site/other apps

Yeah I reallllllly agree the main page huge story pic is not good. I don;t need one thing taking up whole screen and like Void said especially a low res image that looks like ass.

I love this app, i use it all the time on my phone. Any chance of getting it ported to work on AndroidTV? I tried side loading it but it just crashes on launch.

At first I thought I liked the new site, but after using for a while I can say I really don't.

Its big and blocky and so much redundant content on homepage. It is definitely slower. continue watching is broken, Shows played completely videos and videos I haven't started. Autoplay is bad.

Carousels are just plain ugly in my opinion there should be a background behind the image and text to differentiate just looks like elements didn't load in currently and the back and forth buttons look so ugly.

I hope they end up ok. I loved Pat and Austin's work at GB, But I really haven't followed them much at Waypoint at all. No real reason other then GB is all the content I need and It is hard enough to even keep up with them
