The solo is diabolical on Expert. I can't even make it through the damn solo yet. I can five-star it on Hard, though.

It killed me the first time because I was so taken by the stunning visuals.

That, and you look up into the sky and see this GIANT HUNK OF ROCK falling back towards the planet, kinda creates a LITTLE sense of urgency to get the hell off the planet during the whole fight.

Plus you can get an Achievement for it!

Or a game by its case. Dead Space was fucking epic.

Carmine is actually a shade of red. Redshirts were the expendable crew guys in Star Trek who died all the time to warn the main characters of danger.

Now that that bit of nerdiness is over, I liked Carmine. He seemed like the gung-go newb who had not yet seen the atrocities of war.

And then he got shot in the head.

And we all laughed at it.

Marcus (active reload): "NICE!"

Carmine: Hey! Are you THE Marcus Fenix? The one who fought at Aspho Fields?
Marcus: Yep.
Carmine: Wow, cool!
Marcus: Not really.

Carmine sounds like such a fanboy in that scene. XD

The Flamethrower is good for getting the 20 Gamerscore associated with it. That's about it. I haven't used it for anything else. I use either the Plasma Cutter or the Contact Beam to kill Brutes.

I'm on Chapter 7 and the only things that really give me problems are the guys with exploding arm tumors. Those will kill you every time if you let them sneak up on you.
