You know, Newgrounds is FILLED to the brim with "thoughtful" and "touching" and "powerful" flash notgames made by truly inspired and talented people .... this is not one of them.
 
Really not sure why you'd chose to post quite so lengthy about it.

As far as I can tell there isn't a common thread for this sort of topic...  perhaps it's a rare problem.
 
I would like to bring your attention to these two titles, which are yet to have their Steam Achievements updated into the database: 

• Alien Swarm - released end-Jun, achievements show up on the game-page, but only show a single person as having earned any of them   
• Mount & Blade: Warband - achievements appear to have been added on 7-Jul with the last major patch, game-page does not list the game as having any achievements

Bump - achievements for this game are still not showing up on the site.
