MMOs
I got started in gaming because of Homeworld. But I really only got heavily invested through MMOs. First of course being UO, and then pretty much every single one since.

If you're into MMOs, you've played this. No reason to list the expansions either. You probably have them all too.

First MMO and always a special place in my heart. Still remember building my first fish tank.

If you've been in MMOs since before WoW, you've probably played EQ1. No reason to list the expansions. I personally gave up after Planes of Power. Not because of anything other than having played it forever :)

UO 2.0, which is a good thing. Loved this game. Left before all the controversy but actually didn't hate what they tried with the NGE. Just didn't like the result.

The first real alternative to EQ1. Also was the poster child for stable MMO launches pretty much all the way until EQ2. Solid game is nigh incomplete at launch.

What an awesome concept held back by the grind.

Fantastic game. Glad Korea had it for a year before the US though. Work out the kinks. Need to stop having western MMO failures.
