Trilogy's like star wars 1-3 and 4-6. If you feel it's a trilogy, like phoenix wright then it is. For example indiana jones 4 is not something you include in the phrase indiana jones trilogy.

With the release of uncharted it marks the last trilogy (save modern warfare) of 2011. That said what is your favorite video game trilogy of all time? Not entire franchise, but trilogy. for example killzone 1-3, or halo 1-3, god of war 1-3, crash bandicoot 1-3 or 4-6 etc.

My personal favorite trilogy of all time was the jak and daxter trilogy. It had an amazing story, great gameplay and lots of variety. Whats your favorite video game trilogy?

I disagree with you on inFamous 2 (my game of the year so far). That game was fantastic and had a heavy ending that felt meaningful, along with cool new powers. Resistance 3 was another fantastic sequel. Uncharted 3's story wasn't the best in the series but the multiplayer made up for any single player shortcomings. Disappointment is totally subjective.

How do you know skyrim and modern warfare won't come out and be total crap? are you from the future?!?!?!?!?

I never understood why people claim three to be the best. World was better in every imaginable way and didn't have as many frustrating moments (last world ships were just bullets everywhere). World had tons of secrets and i still believe the cape is the best power ever in a Mario game. Also, who doesn't love colored Yoshi's?

The majority of people don't really care. Remember that the vocal minority makes up most of the internet. Also if your playing at a friends house, as many people still do, nobody's going to mind a bug, if anything its just something you can all laugh at. Also welcome to giant bomb!

To each there own i guess but uncharted 3 was my game of the year until i got to the boat. After that i didn't like that it was just nathan drake by himself with hardly anyone to banter with until the end.

Uncharted 3 was hella frustrating on normal during quite a few shoot outs, and this coming from a person who has the uncharted 2 platinum. I honestly felt some parts of that game on normal were harder then uncharted 2 on crushing.

That said i never change the difficulty if I'm more then three hours in because i figure, if I've made it this far, i just need to try harder. However in god of war 3 i started off on hard and couldn't get passed the first boss and just ended up restarting on a lower difficulty.

I was a bit disappointed with how the game ends. I would have wanted to see more done with the characters. Cutter and Chloe are ignored for the second half of the game, and Elena is barely in the game at all. I feel they could have done a lot more with the characters, and had one of the main characters die. They should have let sully die, as much as i love the character so that drake could see the consequence of his reckless actions. Also the Arabic guy just pops in and you don't ever find out who the hell he is. Anyone else feel more could have been done with the characters? I felt the first half did an amazing job with the story but then the second half just pattered out. Still one of my top five games of the year but i felt it could have done more.
