@madman356647: This is a late reply, but yeah, this is a solid choice if you have a Vita or PSTV. Doesn't hurt that it's cheaper than 4.1, either--so if you don't like it you spent less money.

The best thing about the licensed Musou games is that it seems like Omega Force lets itself cut loose a little more than in the "core" games. Some of the stuff they did in One Piece PW2 was kinda nuts (and legitimately difficult if you're trying to S-rank stages on the hardest difficulty) and it seems like they're taking that same spirit to Hyrule Warriors. Looking forward to it.

I already own too many physical objects and don't have enough space to put them. I also find it unnerving when people define themselves by their pop culture allegiances. This whole article leaves me with a weird taste in my mouth and I just can't relate. Sorry dude.

Most of it is just flavor text but some of it is important because it's tipping you off to scripted events that are happening in a given battle. If you're playing story mode, paying attention to the story beats is important for achieving the optional objectives (which open up extra stages or a what-if path for each faction). You can replay individual battles to get the star objectives.

If you're in free mode or ambition mode it doesn't really matter unless it's your commander complaining that they're about to get killed.

What is the endgame for Ouya here? It certainly isn't to run a functional company. It isn't to sell software, since the average Ouya store title is several grades below iOS App Store filler. It isn't to ship product, either, since many backers still haven't received their devices.

The company itself is chronically mismanaged and out of touch. I can only assume at this point that they're looking to get their brand out there as much as possible with publicity stunt after publicity stunt until some larger, more competent manufacturer buys them and everyone gets a big payday. It is a company run by a marketing executive; of course the plastic smiley face is never going to come off.

It's 2013. Why are people still accepting these absurd launch day failures as par for the course? Why are reviewers such as Polygon going easy on publishers for fumbling the ball, exactly when they need to be making their best impression?

(An 8/10 score for a game where you lose progress and have your tiny bonsai cities corrupted with no recourse since you can't create hard saves is going easy on them.)

On-DLC DLC? EA/Bioware's really breaking some new ground here.
