As someone who grew up in the 80s and 90s there was a good episode of Growing Pains about this. For the life of me can't find it on youtube. Basically it was about liking rock music but not the drugs and everything that went with it.
At some point you have to disconnect the thing from the people making it. That line varies all the time and different people have to make that decision and it's a different line for different people. This part has already been said a few times in the thread. Just wanted to shout out Growing Pains.
Edit: Found it! "Feet of Clay" Season 4 Episode 14
I’m also just using my oldest road bike (from around 2002) and a trainer. I got the Saris M2 back in March when this started. Upgrading to a wheel on smart trainer from a simple fluid trainer was a nice upgrade. I bought a year of the sufferfest on a sale and I can do my own mental dark souls anytime now.
I have tried a pelton at my in-laws but I was never as into spin classes so didn’t feel it was for me. Plus that monthly seemed steep.
Going to be playing 12 hours Saturday & 12 hours Sunday. Figured by the 5th year I should get sane with the streaming schedule for this. Probably some on Friday night as well.
Right now thinking Torchlight and Path of Exile. Action RPGS are so great for this kind of thing.
WRC Wales rally GB is this weekend so I thought I'd make an event for it. It's a long one so get ready. You have through Monday to complete it with the 2010 cars.
We're still racing all the big events. Sorry we're not posting over here as much when we do it. I also still race every week. We have a discord which is a mix between some racenight X iRacing folks. PM me if you're interested.
I also see new people use the GB trading paints stuff I've posted all the time but not sure who is who.
This expired quicker than I thought it was going to. That's what I get for setting it up on my phone. I've redone it but this time it's just the sunset full asphalt course and should run through Thursday. It's also hillclimb cars only now.
