I think its more that about 2000 devlopers had tried out enough to know what works and what doesn't genre wise i.e how many guns are best(for consoles), button layouts etc. I just feel the arguement is like moaning how all filmmakers use sweeping shoots for landscape scenes.

As for now genres i can think of tower defence, MOBAs, Minecraft.

My PC can't really run this at 1080P without a sub 30 FPS. When I try to switch it to a lower rez, it doesn't stretch the image to fit the screen, it just scales it down leaving a black bar frame. Any idea how to fix this?

Have you tried reducing your desktop resolution as a workround?

Looking up the case and having no idea of what the panels etc are my obvious first question is have you checked the components fit in the case? mainly the huge GPU which i think is longer than your mainboard.

1080p or bust, I mean come on... if the consoles can't do 1080p at 60 FPS like my 1 year old PC does just don't put them out at all...

Thats how i feel if you have to compromise on 1080p or 60 fps before the things out. Then what am i spending £400 for? The next gen move and kinect.

I could understand if you had to ask this question 18 months after release not 6 months before its out because where does it leave us to go for the next ~7 years of the consoles life?

CoD 207 now in 540p 30FPS yes thats exactly what i want in the year 2020.

I find it a joke consoles have to do 1080p or 60 fps at launch what happens 4 years down the line when we are running 4k TVs. It will look a mess. It a joke devolopers have to choose at this sttage of the console life span. It isn't even out yet.

Depends if there more open levels i would prefer fewer larger ones but guessing your going on about linear levels like most shooters where you can't even explore most the maps make em short.
