I have to say I haven't noticed this and I do play a fair amount of Team Deathmatch. Perhaps I'm not paying enough attention to the weapons that are killing me! Apart from the obvious (ie. checking to see if you keep dying to Hammerburst and Snub) what are the tell tale signs of people using modded controllers with these two guns?
@Alex_Murphy: This would be awesome: I really hope they do release it for 360. Like you, I can't afford a gaming PC and my 360 meets my gaming needs just fine. I wouldn't expect the console to get this fan made content right away or in its "raw" state, but I don't see why Valve can't release it now on Xbox Live as an additional DLC pack now, several months down the line, after it's been checked over and polished.
Hey guys, my friend and I are looking for two Left 4 Dead 2 fans who want to do some Expert campaigns on Xbox 360 over the Christmas period or in the New Year. We wouldn't consider ourselves pro-players, but we know what we're doing: I have already completed two of the first campaigns on Expert on L4D2 and my friend completed all of the L4D1 campaigns on Expert, so we're not total noobs. We are, however, sick of encountering people random players online who either quit early or are incapable of holding their own in an Expert campaign. Often we find one other good guy, but you really need a full team of four to get through it. We want to start out with the original campaigns and since I've already done the first two we'll start with Swamp Fever or Hard Rain. I'm really not sure exactly when I'll be able to do this (Friday evening is a possibility) but if you fancy it, add davidinwrofy and gateht on Xbox Live, send us a message and we will organise something!
@Captain_Felafel: Just noticed your last post, Captain. I completely agree: it was a great moment for the BG community and proof that five random people from different parts of the world, who have never met each other, can work together to achieve a common goal!
Hey guys, I just wanted to thank everyone who took part in the achievement boosting session on Saturday afternoon (GMT) / morning (Mountain Time) particularly Slaker117, Captain_Felafel, who expertly organised the event, and gateht. It was a very productive session, achievement-wise, and there were some fun 'extra-curricular' moments, such as Slaker's 5-man sniper shot! lol I have now S-ranked the game! This is only the second game I have S-ranked (the first being MW2) so I am very pleased. What else did you guys get after we left?
I never played the game back when it first came out and my love affair with the Halo franchise started with Halo 3, but I am loving this game. It is a lesson in how to make an FPS campaign. The level design, combat, gameplay and enemy AI are all awesome.
