Whats the co-op like? i heard you cant stray very far from each other?

Just a quick question for someone that has the game here. Ive read in reviews that you cant stay very far from your partner in co op? is this true if so how tight is the area that you can both occupy. Kinda bit disappointed to hear about this as both me and my housemate were buying the game entirely for co op.

is it a deal breaker?

yeah you only get powerups in multiplayer now. your weapon doesnt upgrade every x amount of points like before

i seem to have some vague memory many years ago of a game alot like this on the pc. flying saucer. same graphic style and isometric angle possibly even the sheep!

is this a remake of an old pc game or am i just confusing it with another game?
