First of all let me wish you all a very Merry Christmas, even if late for this, I mean it.
Now on to the goodies. Apart from Christmas my birthday is on the 20th of December this can be a nuisance when people give me one present for both birthday and christmas, but when they give me 2, it's not. Specially when practically everyone gives me money! :D So, birthday was great and I got myself more money then I thought I'd get and I did the thing I've been meaning to do the whole year: i bought an Xbox 360 (the Elite Version, came with Lego Indiana Jones - wich is BETTER than I thought, it's actually FUN to play! - and Kung Fu Panda - wich I didn't like, although I loved the movie, Jack Black is awesome, but the game is boring =\)! With it I wanted to get Lost Odyssey, unfortunately it was sold out everywhere so I got Saints Row 2. And man is it awesome! I'm currently in the middle of the game and enjoying it a lot. Well, after this Christmas came along and for my surprise my parents managed to find a copy of Lost Odyssey and gave it to me! :D I was happy as hell as it was the 360 exclusive I most wanted! I also got more money so I thew it together with what was left after buying the 360 and I had just enough to buy 2 games and since I didn't need to buy anymore christmas presents, I was free to spend it! So I drove to the mall (PACKED as HELL) and got Fable 2 and Eternal Sonata and still had some money to spend (I had 16% of discount to use at the store, plus 20€ cupon card so it was cheaper than I thought). And just for the heck of it I went to a store that sells used games. I had been there 3 days before this and all the used games were crap or games I already had for PS3 but oh my freaking God I looked at the games and I saw Ninja Gaiden 2 there a lot cheaper than a sealed new one, and I had the money for it, so I bought it. The clerk told me they just got a hold of it, it was someone who got it for Christmas but already had the game. Lucky for me. So I've been playing these 6 games for the past few days and I'm loving them! My first thougths:

LEGO Indiana Jones ~ To be honest, it's the second game I've played less (being the first one Kung Fu Panda...) but that's just because all the other giants are taking all my playing time. It's actually a very fun game with good puzzles and nice graphics and I'll be sure to play it more once I clear out some of the other games. It was a good surprise.

Saints Row 2 ~ This game might resemble GTA4 (and San Andreas), but it is at the same time very, very different. For starters, if you've been playing GTA, you know they lost some of the "stupid fun" from the first games and went on to a more serious story and stuff (still with the silly missions we love so much!) - heck I'm not complaining! GTA4 is one of the best games I've played in the past few years. Well, Saints Row 2 kinda borrows that "Stupid fun" from the old GTA games and puts it to good use with good graphics and some new features. It's an awesome game that fans of GTA4 will enjoy (unless they're fanboys - met some - who go like "it's just a stupid copy of it" - it may be stupid, but it's no copy, in my opinion it just borrows the same concept. Apart from that, it's very different).

Lost Odyssey ~ Finally the 360 game I've been wanting to play the most! By Final Fantasy's creator and with music from Nobuo Uematsu + great story, graphics and game mechanic. What more can you wish for? I have the feeling this should be called Final Fantasy: Lost Odyssey, seriously it looks like a Final Fantasy game and I love that. I'm loving this game so far, can't wait to get further more into it.

Ninja Gaiden 2 ~ I own Ninja Gaiden Sigma for PS3 and I love that game but it's frustrating as hell! I'm stuck in the middle of it and I intend on finishing it when Sony sends me my new PS3 (stupid disc problem). Ninja Gaiden 2 does what the prequel did right, messes up with some stuff (specially the camera) and improves on other stuff (GORE GORE GORE!!! and STUPIDLY AWESOME COMBOS!). It's a excelent fun game with a frustrating camera (we get many of these lol). I'm up to chapter 4 and I'm loving it.

Eternal Sonata ~ I love, love, love RPGs. I had a feeling I would enjoy Eternal Sonata, but oh my GOD I wasn't prepared for this! The characters are amazing, the story is interesting and oh my GOD this is the MOST BEAUTIFUL game I've seen in a while! It's a wonder to look at! So much detail it's like you're actually playing an animated movie or something. I'm on Chapter 2.

Fable 2 ~ I played Fable when it came for PC and I loved the game but I wasn't prepared for this sequel! It's awesome, it has the same "feeling" from the first game plus thousands of new stuff. I haven't played this one a lot (focusing on Lost Odyssey for now) but I certainly recommend it!

Well that's it. I also got my self some Arcade Games from the MarketPlace: Braid (oh my GOD this game is amazing!), Worms (good old worms fun... online!) and Uno (one of my favorite card games and I can now play it online!).

I also got addicted to the 360 online series "The Guild". God that's awesome can't wait for ep 205.

That's it for now, feel free to add me on 360 since I don't actually know anyone who as it so I'm 360-friendless for now :P

Enjoy your holidays and vacations and I'll be abusing my 360 until freaking 2009 and university starting day!
Have a nice day!

Finally finished Siren: Blood Curse (PS3), it's amazing. Upon discussing it with my friend at gamingvault.wordpress.com i will be doing a video walkthrough of the game, when I don't know (my ps3 is on it' way to Sony because of the whole not-reading-discs business...) but I'll post here when I start doing it. Well, if you have a PS3, like horror games and have an internet connection, get Siren NOW!

- EDIT -

Also, my review for the game is up, if you're interested, check it out! :)

So, if you read my last blog, here's the keyboard I got:
Behringer UMX49

:D I love it! It's helping me greatly for the SouthVille Soundtrack! Oh yeah, I haven't talked about SouthVille here yet, it's an Horror / Adventure game for PC for wich I'm making the Soundtrack, Audio Edits, some sound effects, additional ideas, etc... I'll open a BLOG post about it later today or something.

- in other news -

As I stated before, I got that stupid problem with PlayStation 3, it stopped reading any discs right before I finished Metal Gear Solid 4 (FRUSTRATING! I really wanna know the end! Guess I gotta wait...). Well, I'll be sending my console to Sony probably next week or something, only after I finish Siren: Blood Curse. Yeah, it won't read any discs, but games on the hard-drive is fine to play, so, as an horror fan and Siren fan, I got it yesterday, the full thing. It's a shame it's not on Blu-Ray, but oh well. The game is and isn't a remake of the first Forbidden Siren for the PlayStation 2. It is a remake because many missions are the same (with different scenarios and characters), and it isn't a remake because the story is a bit different and of course, the characters and some maps are different. I never finished Forbidden Siren because it was too frustrating for my head, I kind of gave up on it by the middle - it was too hard. This one thankfuly has difficulty settings, so you can go with Easy or Normal. I'm on Normal and heck, it's much easier than the original game. I'm loving it! The graphics are really good, the atmosphere is really dark and morbid - very scary. The shibito are awesome (the ones with wings are funny instead of scary though, lol) and I'm loving the story. The only bad thing is that, even if you buy the whole game instead of going for the Episode format... you still get the episode format, but for less money. So, you buy it and you still have to download the 12 packages wich is a pain. I'm up to Episode 4 playing because it only downloaded up to Episode 4. And to get my PlayStation 3 online, I have to turn off the internet on my computer, so I'm waiting for tonight, and while I sleep I'll put the PlayStation 3 downloading the rest of the packages. The first Episode is really small, it took me 5 minutes to finish it, though the others kept growing in length, wich is good (I was scared at first that the missions would all be like that). I'll post a final review when I finish this game, hopefuly still this week as I want to send my PlayStation 3 to Sony as soon as possible.

I'll see you guys later! :)
