I can't stress enough how awesome the multiplayer is. I'm currently playing the PS3 version and it's so streamlined, IW has done some amazing improvements.

Lockerz Adventures Part 2

 
So it's been awhile since I last blogged, so I decided to quickly write this up. Sorry if it seems like a mess. Anyways, you may or may not have read my previous blog post about my experience with Lockerz (you know...that weird site that wants to become the next social networking medium by giving away free stuff??). Well heres the continuation. So in my previous post, I talked abit about become a Z-lister. Well I've finally received my free T-shirt due to gaining that status and boy did it take awhile. I acquired this ''Z-list'' status back in early September, and here I am in November FINALLY receiving a shirt that they owed me for what seems like ages. 


Although I'm definitely not pleased with how long it took, I still appreciate the nice little gift. Currently I'm saving up PTZ for a couple of games coming out later this month so until then, I'm simply just gonna be doing the usual stash-up-the-PTZ strategy. ^_^ I'll be making a blog about that too, and by the way, the site might be going out of beta later this month, which could cause alot of changes to the system. Even though it was suppose to come out of beta in mid-October. xD
 

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Beta

I got a code for BF:BC2 so now I'm happily waiting for Nov. 19th to come along. The reason why I mentioned this though is that I may be getting more codes to give away. Stay tuned for more information, and also, keep in mind that Gamespot, IGN, and the official Bad company website will be giving codes away before the beta starts, so if you haven't gotten one yet, don't lose hope ;)
 

Windows 7...for free!

Recently my bro. got an acer computer with vista on it, but after completing an offer that acer allowed to recent customers, I was able to get a free upgrade copy for Windows 7! It was a pleasent surprise seeing a courier come to my door with a copy of this and not-to-mention it was free! I highly recommend that if you bought a computer recently loaded with windows 7 from a big computer manufacturer, that you go to their official site and check if this offer is still going, because I remember seeing companies other than acer doing a similar scheme. Yep, you may be noticing that I'm pretty damn tired and that my sentences are kinda confuzzled, but never-the-less, take my advice and see if your eligible for a copy.

Modern Warfare 2- it's coming out on Tuesday??!!!

Hell yes, MW2, the game that we've (well maybe not, but I am) all been waiting for is out in 2 days! Lets all start up the hype machine by torchering our eyes to stare at this countdown timer until it launches!

          Ok so, as some of you may remember, not too long ago I started using lockerz. It's essentially a cross between a site that sends you free stuff and a social networking site (its still in beta though so alot of features are missing). I'm just going to make this a series of short blogs about my journey with lockerz (sort've like an endurance run....except alot more dull perhaps ^_^). So this is my current status with the service. I've gotten 156 PTZ (the currency for getting free stuff on the site) and about 2 weeks ago i got Z-Lister status. Z-lister status is when you invite 20 folks to the site and in return, you get double PTZ for everything you do once you receive this status. It's a neat little idea, but it was alot of hassle to find enough people to invite, thankfully alot of the GB community was able to help me with that though. ;). Anyways, another great thing that happens when you get Z-Lister status is that Lockerz sends you a free T-shirt. 
 
          At first I didn't think I was gonna receive it, because international shipping (AKA shipping outside the U.S.) is not starting until october 15th. Fortunately, the Z-Lister T-Shirts will be sent out internationally anyways (for not extra ptz cost or anything) and after waiting 2 weeks, today I finally got a confirmination email. It wasn't really exactly a shipping confirmination email though, more like a ''we need this information from you before we can ship it to you'' email. So after sending them my phone number like they requested (only international users have to do this for some reason), all I can do now is wait. The email noted that if I sent them the information early enough, my T-shirt will get shipped to me by the end of the week. 
 

In the next episode of my lockerz journey, all of these questions will be answered. Will I get my T-shirt? Will they send it to me with no flaws? Am I giving my personal information away to be spammed with crap? Stay tuned until the next episode of THE EPIC LOCKERZ ADVENTURE!! DUN DUN DUHHHHH

Oh and sorry for such an amateur blog, I'll probably wait until the summer or christmas break before I start writing reviews again. Hopefully I won't get modded for posting this blog to the forums, because this is not an intentional advertisement blog, and please note that a friend of mine told me the lockerz service is valid, so I'm not gonna say that the site is likely to cause problems for me.
