did anyone else just get kicked off xbox live...the xbox website says "server too busy"....whats goin on?

hi, i just bought a preowned 'band in a box'  for rock band....it all works except there is a part missing. I am wondering if anyone can help me locate a replacement for this part.It is the USB part for either the drums or the guitar....(Because the wire for each is split into two parts.)
