List items

  • BI : Burial at Sea Episode 1 (PC 1/9)

  • (PC 1/10)

That was really good, bummed I didn't play it sooner. Interesting mechanics, a great style, and a touching story. Well worth a play through.

  • (PS4 1/19)

so much better than AC3, but still not without it's problems. Sailing around the open ocean taking down prizes is awesome, but tailing and then killing dudes over and over again has lost it's appeal. The really need to come up with a way to switch up the loop on the story missions.

  • 3DS 2/4

Pokemon is still fun. It kind of had an oddly dark story, but it all worked out and now I once again reign over the land as Pokemon League Champ

  • Vita (2/6)

The best Vita game, hands down. 2D side scrolling Tony Hawk / Skate. It's so good, get it now if you have a Vita.

  • PC (3/6)

Started playing again after the patch and got a little bit obsessed again. Ran through as a wizard, now trying the barbarian

  • PS3 (3/18)

Neat battle system and interesting overworld mechanics that let you finish battles on the map. Along with that, it has a couple of the worst, most frustrating, most poorly explained, unskippable mini-games in any game I've played in a while. Watch a cutscene kind of explain what you need to do, try to do it, fail - but who knows why, repeat until you want to break things. The Worst!

I haven't watched the show in forever, so I don't have much attachment to the setting. The underlying story about kids playing a sweeping game throughout their neighborhood is great, but I must be getting old... Some of it was almost too much for me. Getting to Canada saved the game for me, that part rules.

  • Diablo 3 - (PC 3/24)

Finished as a Barbarian on hard. On to Master, I think

  • April - PS3

Got real deep into X and X-2 after picking up the HD remaster thingy. I still kind of love this game, except fuck Blitzball. I was getting to go crazy on celestial weapons and stuff but got frustrated trying to win those stupid chocobo races and moved on to X-2

  • April - PS3

Jumped straight into X-2 from X... I forgot how weird this game is. Anyway, once again, it's still awesome. gonna take a break then see about getting back into these for some late game stuff

  • May - PS3

I love this game for some reason. It's not the best looking game, and it's got a batshit crazy story, but there is something about it that I just dig. The odd mix of action rpg and bullet hell mechanics sounds like a bad idea, but it worked for me. It also plays really well, the fights are fun and it moves fast.

I started from the beginning and jammed through it to get the speed run trophy

  • May - PS3

NG+ and NG++ to get the B and C endings... I'm really close to getting platinum but I'm not sure if I have it in me to grind out the rest of the materials needed to upgrade all the weapons... We'll see.

  • May - PS4

Finally got around to playing the campaign... Not super sure what it was all about, honestly. It was kind of weird how everyone is telling you are in charge all the time, then pushing you out of the way so they can talk to each other about what to do next.

  • June - PS3

This is pretty good, as it turns out. A cool, super-fast old school shooter fell, mixed with a bunch of other interesting ideas. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but more than enough to make it worth playing for me.

  • June - PS4

Fun, but A LOT like the other games. Finished a good play through, on to the evil

  • June - PS3

Probably considered to be boring by lots of people, I kind of dug it. It doesn't play super well, but it was like walking through a haunted house, lot's of cool sets with neat stories going on. I ended up getting the platinum without even trying.

  • June - PS4

Finished the evil campaign and picked up the platinum

  • July - 360

  • Neat-o puzzle game. Not super hard, but really interesting and fun

  • August - PC
