@Rmack: Yes the game is definitely worth it even if you don't create a single thing. I don't have the time to create but I love what they have done with the campaign. I addition the sheer volume of available user generated levels will keep you coming back for more.
" if the controls are better than the first one i might pick this up. "
They were very responsive in the Beta. To me they felt similar to Bad Company 2 as opposed to the sluggish controls in KZ2. It is also possible that they might have tweaked/improved them for retail based on feedback from the beta.
@pixelpushr: You have to use the slide move to slide under him as he is dashing towards the pole. This fucking boss is the epitome of everything that is wrong with this game: Cool Art over solid gameplay. BTW whoever playtested this game fucking failed!
I am also amazed how it never occurred to the developers to add some sort of gun power ups. For fuck sakes Contra and all other side scrolling shooters have bee doing it since when? That would have at least made the gameplay a bit more bearable.
While I will be receiving a copy of Black Ops as a gift from a friend, I will only play the campaign and coop modes. My competitive multiplayer needs will be filled by BC2:Vietnam and Halo:Reach (albeit in smaller doses).
Resistance 2 comes to mind. That single player campaign was just plain bad. Mass Effect 2 (excluding the first 10 minutes of the game) I would also add Bioshock 2, but I was never all that excited about it.
