So in order to save money I have decided against buying anymore videogames until Christmas. With Call of Duty: Black Ops coming out in a couple of weeks I feel as tho this is going to be painful. It's okay, at least once Christmas does come it will be a joyous day! But seriously, this is gonna suck....
Man, I never thought I'd be so curious to play a bunch of RPG's as I am right now. Usually I like to stick to First Person Shooters and action games...but lately I've been seeing a lot of awesome looking RPG's being released and can't help but want to check them out. Here are a few of the ones I'm beginning to build interest in;
- Dragon Age (I know, I'm a bit late on this one, but I just discovered it and it looks intense) - Demon's Souls (Also a bit late, and it looks hard as hell but badass all at the same time) - Resonance of Fate (The guy who voiced Drake is in this...how can I not be interested?) - Final Fantasy XIII (I haven't loved a Final Fantasy game since playing FF X but I'm curious to give this one a try)
* I know there is probably more to check out...but I'm not made of money so this will be more than enough for now.
Gametrailers.com recently made a wishlist for what they believe should be included in the sequel to the blockbuster hit, Batman: Arkham Asylum. I thought the list was pretty damn good so I thought I'd share it with you (if you haven't seen it already). If they manage to throw most if not all of the following ideas into the game it will be at the very least, AMAZING. Enjoy.
I finished Bioshock 2 a week ago. I'm thinking about doing a short review on the game (any review I do is going to be short lol). Bioshock was one of the top 5 games I have ever played so Bioshock 2 was definitely long awaited. This also meant my expectations were quite high. All I can really say before the review is that I was not disappointed.I'll probably post the review in a couple of hours.
For a year now I have been intrigued by what I have seen of the upcoming game, Heavy Rain. With the huge amount of videos coming out on Gametrailers.com my interest only grew. Recently a demo for the game was even made available on the PS3 and of course, I downloaded it. After playing the demo I was pumped! This ladies and gents, is something unique. It reminds me of the psychological thriller, Seven (starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman) and to me...that is a very good thing. Shortly after playing the demo (within hours in fact) I went to the local Gamestop and pre-ordered the game. I'm really looking forward to something different in gaming and I think Heavy Rain is that something. Only a few more days and it will be mine! Expect a review shortly after completion.
