1. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
That year I saved up every penny I was given for Christmas, walked to the closest shop to my Gran's and bought this for £50. The best £50 I ever spent. Love this game.
2. Counter-Strike: Source
Oh Counter-Strike. How many hours of my life did you take away..?
3. Super Mario World
Played this to death on the SNES. I still have it somewhere at my parent's...
4. Rock Band
I now use Rock Band for the interface but this original game was just amazing. Played it for weeks on end.
I had this on the Acorn Electron (similar to BBC Micro) and the NES. The Frontier sequels were nowhere near as good.
6. Super Mario Kart
They've never managed to make a better karting game than this.
7. GoldenEye 007
This game changed the world of FPS. "You can shoot him in the nuts!". Awesome.
9. Dead Space
My first play through of Dead Space was magical - as close to living in a horror film as I've experienced. This poor game seems to get ignored by so many. Their loss.
10. Super Monkey Ball
Until this game gets insanely hard it is the best reason to own a GameCube.
