The part where Chie says "You're the inner me that I pretended never existed" and the darkness gets blown away reminds me of the last episode of Neon Genesis Evangelion. I was half expecting everyone to be standing around clapping, saying "congratulations."

@TeamJersey: Hmm.. I may be wrong, that might have just been in Demon's Souls. A quick look at the wiki shows that only a handful of weapons cause it.

Don't all of the "curved sword" class of weapons cause bleeding?
